Get your learner’s permit at 16
Pass the written test at the RMV. You need the permit in hand before you can start behind-the-wheel hours with us.

30 hours of classroom
Massachusetts motor vehicle law and safe, proper operation of a vehicle. Fifteen two-hour modules — one vacation week, or weekday evenings across about three weeks.

12 hours behind the wheel
One-on-one road hours with your instructor, booked around school and work. Pickup and drop-off in Brockton.

6 hours of observation
Time in the back seat while another student drives. It sounds passive — it is where a lot of the learning actually lands.

2-hour class for a parent or guardian
Required by the RMV. It covers what you can do at home to make the 40 supervised hours count.

40 hours of supervised driving
Logged with a parent or guardian. This drops to 30 hours if you complete a driver skills development program.

Hold the permit 6 months, clean
Six consecutive months with a clean record before you are eligible for the road test.

Pass the road test
We bring the car and an instructor. Then it is a Junior Operator License — and we close out your account.
