Adults come to us for all sorts of reasons: you never got round to it, you drove for fifteen years in another country, you had one bad experience and stopped. All of it is normal. None of it is a problem.
What Massachusetts actually asks of you
If you are 18 or older, you are not required to complete driver's education. What you need is a learner's permit, enough real practice that the road stops feeling hostile, and a road test you walk into ready for.
That is the whole job, and it is why adult lessons are sold by the hour rather than as a package. Some people need four hours. Some need twenty. We will tell you honestly which one you are, and we would rather you passed on the second attempt than paid us for hours you did not need.

You can drive. What you need is Massachusetts road rules, our intersections, and the road test format.
- Starting from zero at 30, 40, 55
We start in an empty lot if that is what the first hour needs. No one is watching.
- Back after years off
A license lapse, a move, a long stretch without a car. Usually fewer hours than you fear.
- Anxious in traffic
Highway merges, rotaries, night driving. We build up to them instead of throwing you in.
Payment in full is due on road exam day. 24-hour notice to cancel; a no-show adds $15 to the lesson fee.
